Halaqa Series is built to be a calm, private place to learn. We collect as little information as we can, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t track you across the web. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.
Browsing the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in server logs — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to keep the site secure and running. This is used for operations and security only, and is not used to build a profile of you.
Preferences you set. If you set preferences (for example a theme, or content you save to read later), those are stored locally in your own browser using localStorage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
When you contact us. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your name, email address, and message) so we can reply. We keep it only as long as needed to help you.
The site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Some third-party content we embed (see below) may set its own cookies when you interact with it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
YouTube. Some pages show or play videos hosted on YouTube. When a page loads or plays YouTube content, your browser connects to YouTube (owned by Google), which may set cookies and collect data under Google’s Privacy Policy. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for how Google handles that data.
We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If we introduce privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics in the future, we will update this page before doing so.
Halaqa Series is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we don’t hold accounts or profiles, there is very little data tied to you. You can clear anything stored in your browser at any time through your browser settings, and you can contact us with any request or question about your data.
If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear.
Questions about privacy? Please reach us through our contact page.
This policy describes our current practices in plain language and is not legal advice. If your organisation operates in a regulated jurisdiction (for example the EU/UK or California), have it reviewed against the applicable requirements before launch.
